The second block in the underground railroad block of the month is the wagon wheel. This pattern is done using raw edge applique. I used Heat-n-Bond, but any fusible web will do. If desired, feel free to add top stitching around the wheel block, i.e., blanket stitch, zig zag, or straight stitch. Here are a few images of my block progress. Download pdf below.
