Where do you live (City/State): Decatur, GA

How long have you been quilting? 15 years

How did you get started quilting? Introduced to quilting by my maternal grandmother and mother. I took my first quilt class in Stone Mountain, GA in 2003. I joined the Brown Sugar Stiitcher’s Quilt Guild to learn more about the craft.

What is your favorite part of quilting? I love piecing the quilt top!

What is your least favorite part of quilting? My least favorite part is quilting, especially on my domestic machine.

Do you have a day job? If so, what do you do? I work as an accountant

Do you design your own quilt patterns? Yes, I like to use EQ8 along with AccuQuilt Dies to design quilts. I signed up for Tech knows Quilters EQ8 to expand my knowledge of the software.

If you could eat only 1 food for the rests of your life, what would it be? Broccoli

What three words best describe you? kind, lovable and passionate

Favorite quilt pattern designer or fabric designer? Jan Hollins, Aisha Lumumba and Judy Niemeyer

Favorite holiday? Christmas, since it’s two days after my birthday

I am a member of Brown Sugar Stitcher’s Quilt Guild and am featured along with my Quilt Guild Member in our 20th Anniversary Book, Celebrating Soulful Expressions of Fiber Art.
